Dune - on Langeoog
1920*1200

edit: just wanted to say that it looked like that when i took these pictures. the sky was there as was the grass and the sand. the b/w filter i applied to the picture just creates the halo at the line where grass and sky meet.

still, these were in fact two seperate pictures of the same thing, combined into one panorama shot and cropped afterwards. it could have been more wide but it wasn´t so beautiful on the right and there were actually people on the left side to be seen in the background.

Ich war dieses Jahr ganz in der Nähe von Langeroog im Urlaub, wunderbare Gegend‼
Das Foto ist toll!
Darf ich das als Desktophintergrund nehmen?

I really love it even though it's pretty evident the sky wasn't originally here [don't want to be rude :ashamed: (see outline where grass meets sky)]

yes, that´s the problem with applying a filter afterwards. because the clouds really were there when the picture was made, i just applied a b/w-filter. but: it created a halo around things. I´m still very happy that it´s invisible that these were actually two seperate pictures. for me, the most obvious problem of this picture is the low detail resolution (fault of the camera).
